Common Name - Cotyledon orbiculata - Pig Ear

Country of Origin - S. Africa 

How to grow - Cotyledon are tollerante of cool winter conditions if kept dry, they need a gritty free draining mix. They prefer a full sun position to grow in, this can also help bring out their colouring in the leaves, making an ideal indoor plant if in a sunny position. If needed, feed with a cactus/succulent fertilizer during their growth period, the fertilizer should be low in nitrogen.

Hardiness - -3c

Description - Can grow over 1m tall. A large leaved succulent that will have a shrub/small tree like structure to it when fully grown. Powdery blue large leaves. Will have thick stems. Flower spike that can get to 30cm high.

 

All plants will be shipped bare root.  Grown in 9cm pot
