Common Name - Aptenia, Heartleaf Ice plant, Baby Sunrose
Country of Origin - S. Africa
How to grow - Only water when completely dry, they like to be potted in a well draining gritty soil. They prefer full sun. Will spread in a mat carpet with slightly woody stems when mature. Can tolerate low temperatures but will rot if kept wet for long periods.

Description - A lush green leaved plant with vibrant pink flowers that open during the day in sunlight, quite easy to grow as long as you are careful about watering, makes a lovely plant for hanging baskets
