Common Name - Aloe dorotheae, Sunset Aloe

Country of Origin - Tanzania

How to grow - Aloe are pretty tough plants, able to cope with extreme drought conditions for long periods. They need bright light to do well and make great house plants if in a bright spot. They prefer warmer temperatures but can cope with lower temperatures if dry as they will go dormant. Never allow them to sit in water and make sure they are in a free draining potting mix. They can quickly fill the pot, repot if needed in the spring when they are growing.

Hardiness -  -3 +

Description - Classed as critically endangered by the IUCN, likely being collected for medicinal purposes. Has a very limited distribution. Stunning colours when stressed such as drought or exposed conditions. Will form a large clump, spikey leaves, vibrant green when growing.

All plants will be shipped bare root. 9cm pot
