Common Name - Aeonium 'Salad bowl'
Country of Origin - Cultivar
How to grow - Aeoniums are usually very easy to care for, you need to pot them in a well drained soil and let them dry out between waterings. During hot periods they can go dormant, this is when the rosettes close up to help conserve water within the plant. During this period they don't need as much water. Their main growing period is actually during the cooler times of the year, they’ll over winter quite well if kept frost free . In warmer areas of the UK they can be outside all year round. As they grow they’ll drop the lower leaves of the rosette, this is normal.
Hardiness - -0c
Description - When fully grown the heads of this amazing aeonium can get over 8inchs wide with a deep bowl on the tops around 1-2inches deep. Deep green in colour, the bowl in the rosette forms on more mature plants.
